For Workers

Helping Workers

The Pennsylvania Foundation for Fair Contracting helps workers verify and recover lost wages under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts.

We begin by helping to determine what wages and benefits the worker has been paid and then verify that those meet the obligation under the law. If there is a discrepancy, we work with the worker to find the best means of recovering their lost wages. This could be through our assistance in filing a complaint with the proper agency as well as making contact with various law enforcement officers or making recommendations of trusted legal counsel.

All of this is done at no charge to the worker. Our only goal is to ensure that all workers on publicly funded construction projects in Pennsylvania are paid the legally mandated prevailing wage.
